SALES ENGINEER
You have experience in the heating element industry, ideally with experience in thick-film heating products. You are an engineering graduate (or have a technical diploma) seeking a technical sales career. You have a track record of excellent customer skills, developing new sales and closing orders. You will provide technical assistance and support to outside sales representatives and strategic accounts. You possess a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations. You also possess excellent computer skills which will assist you in preparing detailed cost estimates and formal customer quotations. You are willing to travel throughout the U.S.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
This is full-time, entry level position for an engineering technician/technologist to assist the R&D and engineering staff in the manufacturing and testing of electrical heating components and equipment. We seek a practical, hands-on person who is eager to learn, able to follow instructions and handle multiple tasks. The qualifying candidate must be adaptable and able to work in a changing environment.
Job function includes:
- paint and coating preparation (chemical mixing)
- assist in the construction of prototypes using screen printing and sp
- coating application (spray painting and screen printing)
- recording and reviewing test and QA data
- inspecting product quality (visual inspection, caliper measurement, various other quality checks)
- maintenance and upkeep test area
Job requirements and skills include:
- 2 year certificate from a technical college or equivalent experience in a technical function
- familiarity with chemistry and basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical devices
- able to maintain accurate records and experimental work
- must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- must be practical and hands-on
- must be able to handle multiple tasks
- must be flexible and able to work in a changing environment
- must be able to follow instructions

Desirable Additional Qualifications
- Chemical handling / mixing experience
- CET certification
- experience in spray deposition/screen printing and asset
